Day 1: Arrival at Banlung (LD)

Morning flight from Phnom Penh to Banlung, capital of Ratanakiri - Welcome and transfer to the hotel -

Lunch - Leaving byroad in the direction of Laos and the village of Taveng. We first cross the curious extent of volcan rocks of Veal Rumplang, a lava field in the forest with a small waterfall nearby (only in wet season though) and what locals call tiger caves.

We stop at a few nice Kroeung villages located quite far away in the forest. Return to hotel - Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: The Jarai territory (BLD)

This will be a long and dusty ( or muddy) day, since we leave far eastward, towards the Vietnamese border. We first stop in some Tampoun villages in order to observe the tribal customs as well as to tempt to bargain some traditional handicrafts.

We cross rubber trees, cashew nut or coffee plantation, stop at the village of Bokeo where we have some refreshment. Then we go back toward Andong Meas (the gold well) to reach the superb Se San river and to undertake a ride in a local dugout to the discovery of some Jarai villages.

Return to hotel - Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Departure (B)

Trip to the surrounding waterfalls and a little trip to the volcanic lake "Yaklom"
Transfer to the airport for departure to Phnom Penh.

Possibility: Continuation by car to Stung Treng , then to the border Cambodia-Laos or by boat to Kratie.
