Whatever you want, exciting or peaceful, adventurous or relaxing, is possible in a Cambodia honeymoon trip.

Itinerary

On arrival at Siem Reap International airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in with our assistance.

Welcome Champagne is served in your room. Tonight is your first experience of a warm and cozy environment at one of the selection resort in Siem Reap town. You will accommodate in a honeymoon’s room, which has been design by rose flowers to welcome you.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

We head to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the great Khmer empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII, surrounded by an 8 meter high wall that creates a perfect location. Cross the embankment of the moat, flanked on both sides by a series of 54 deities and demons, each holding a sacred naga snake, and an impressive entrance gate adorned with three-headed elephants and four smiling faces of the Buddha is covered. Continue to Bayon Temple. At the exact center of Angkor Thom, this is an eccentric expression of the creative genius and inflated ego of Cambodia’s most celebrated king. Its 54 towers are each topped off with the four faces of Avalokiteshvara (Buddha of Compassion), which bear more than a passing resemblance to the king himself.

Journey out to the Mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers.

Tonight we will have romantic dinner under candle light.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, heading into the ancient city to explore Ta Prohm `Tomb Raider` fame. Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history. Left as it was ‘discovered’ by French explorer Henri Mouhout in 1860, the tentacle-like tree roots here are slowly strangling the surviving stones, man first conquering nature to create, nature later conquering man to destroy.
Head further out through rural countryside to the small but beautiful temple of Banteay Srei. This temple is largely built of pink sandstone, a harder rock that can be more elaborately carved and better survives the rigors of time.

We will go to local pagoda, where you should change to clothes we can get wet in as here we will experience the ceremony “Srouch Teok”, which roughly translates into “Water blessing”. A monk will chant in ancient Pali as he splashes water over us, washing away our sins and bad luck so we can start fresh and by being a good person can increase our good luck. Then continue to have a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake view and mangrove forest on the lake, then spend rest of the morning at the largest village on the lake to discover the fascinating daily lives of the local people who leave on the water.

This evening we will enjoy Herbal Compress Massage – combine healing effects of an aromatherapy massage with application of heated herbal compress. This treatment purifies, relaxes, warms, relieves aches and pains and improves blood circulation whilst stimulating the senses.
