Tour Overview:

A fascinating trip into the heart to Thailand, visiting some of Thailand’s famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. From Bangkok to the North, discovering the Old Capitals of the Kingdom.

Itinerary

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on requests. Warmly welcome at Bangkok International Airport, meet & greet service by our guide and transfer from the airport to hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle with English speaking guide. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free to discover the “City of Angels” at your own pace.

Overnight in Bangkok.

07.30hrs. Depart from your hotel and continue by road from Bangkok to the garden province of Samut Songhkhram in the Mae Klong River delta area. Visit a unique country market (The Train Market) along the railway tracks where a variety of goods are sold and the train travels through bringing people to the market. Proceed to Damnoen Saduak, the most colorful floating market in the Kingdom. Enjoy the beautiful sights along the way and witness the day-to-day activities of the Thai people who live on the canals selling their fresh fruits and vegetables from the surrounding villagers’ farms. Take a short paddle boat ride through the canals to get the closure feeling of the local people. W will visit the Grand Palace, including the Coronation Hall, Wat Phra Kaew or Emerald Buddha Temple, and the replica of Angkor Wat. Continue to Wat Pho, home of the reclining Buddha as well as the first school of traditional medicine and Thai massage and also regarded as Thailand’s first University. The last place of visiting today will be Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is situated on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Overnight in Bangkok.

Depart to the former capital of Thailand’s Kingdom, Ayutthaya. Exploring the Historical Park and the remained ruins form century of 14th-18th, after the invasion of the Burmese troops. Drive up north to visit Wat Maha That, in Phitsanulok. Continue to Sukhothai for overnight.

Overnight in Sukhothai.

After breakfast, we visit Sukhothai is the first of Thailand’s capitals where the ruins of many temples and the Royal palace are kept as historically valuable monuments. Depart to Chiang Rai, visit Wat Rong Khun with its unique architecture and Wat Phra Kaew with its beautiful brass and copper Buddha image. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Visit Mae Sai. Continue to the world famous Golden Triangle to see the beautiful panoramic view of the three countries: Lao, Myanmar, Thailand. Visit the Old temple at Chiang Sean. Depart to Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second largest city located in a scenic valley in North Thailand. Continue to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, 1073 meters above sea level. The stairs are flanked by a dragon-serpent and once on top awaits probably your favorite temple in whole of Thailand. Also full of worshippers, scent of incense sticks and tinkling of the little temple bells. And don’t forget the view over Chiang Mai! Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Depart hotel and drive to Baan Chang Elephant Park where the main goal is “to help and work for the elephants and not to make them work for us”. Baanchang Elephant Park is dedicated to provide elephants with the highest quality-of-life possible and, of course, rescue new elephants. You will enjoy ``The Magical Elephant Mahout Training``, a special program created for everyone to learn and interact with elephants as what a Mahout (care taker) would do daily. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on requests. Transfer to CHIANG MAI airport for departure to next destination. It’s time to say goodbye, we thank you for traveling with us and warmly welcome you to come again.
