Within 12 days, this tour will give you a moderate schedule enabling an in-depth visit at each site. Itinerary

Today meet upon arrival at Saigon International Airport. In Saigon, first obtain your Vietnam visa on arrival. Clear Immigration and Customs and proceed into the arrival area. You will be met by our guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

This morning, set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace). Ben Thanh Market, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) are absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.

In the morning, take 2hrs drive to the Mekong Delta which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise around islets and tropical orchards through the Vam Xep canal to reach a small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop en route to visit a bee farm, interact with a local family. Visit coconut workshop to understand a typical family run business in this area. Enjoy horse-drawn cart ride to visit handicraft village, a coconut candy factory, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music and the take a rowing boat through the narrow tree-lined canals before returning to My Tho by motorized boat. Have lunch before heading back Saigon.

Transfer Saigon airport for our flight to Hue. Upon arrival at airport, we meet our driver and transfer to hotel for check in.

After breakfast, you will visit the majestic Minh Mang Tomb erected in 1840. Later, sail the Perfume River by Royal Dragon Boat to the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda, the tallest one in Vietnam. Transfer to visit Imperial Citadel with cobbled paths and tour the Forbidden Purple City, a walled fortress and palace in the former capital. After that, absorb the energy, sounds and odors of the bustling Dong Ba Market.

After breakfast, head for Hoi An while enjoying the view of the coast and Da Nang from the top of Hai Van Pass on the way. On arrival in Da Nang, visit Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum which has a fascinating collection of rare works of art, and the famous Marble Mountain. Continue to drive to Hoi An in the afternoon, check into the hotel, and have some free time on your own.

This morning, at 09:00 we will start our Hoi An Discovery tour. Hoi An seems to appeal to everyone. This charming town still retains a variety of heritage houses making a stroll around the streets a fabulous option. Guided tour of Hoi An sites includes the Quan Cong Temple, the Quang Dong Pagoda, The Phuoc Kien Pagoda, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Tran Family Chapel, Sa Huynh Museum, and Phung Hung House. Walk along the bank of the lively Thu Bon River, once prosperous and famous as a trading port. Back to the hotel and free at your leisure in afternoon.

This morning, head to Da Nang airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and start the tour, including Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Later, explore the Old Quarter by rickshaw. Last stop is the serene Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy a traditional water puppet show.

Morning drive to visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital city of the Dinh Dynasty and Bai Dinh pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in Vietnam. Afternoon, take a boat trip visit Trang An Grottoes. It is complex, which is a gathering of 31 valleys, 50 cross-water caves, and home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them in the Red Book of Vietnam. While rowing through Trang An grotto in the quiet, fresh air of the highlands, with only the sound of birds and the oars stirring the clear water and surrounded by magnificent forested mountains upon which graze white goats, visitors enjoy a heaven on earth.

Today you will drive to the World Heritage site of Halong Bay, where you can see nearly 2,000 limestone islands dot the sea and traditional sampans and junks sail the glinting water, grottos, thick forests, and hidden coves, it will be a real ocean adventure! A variety of optional activities like kayaking, swimming, diving will definitely add more fun to this trip.

Overnight on boat.

Early morning coffee and tea will be served on the sundeck followed by a Tai Chi class. We continue exploring magnificent Ha Long Bay. Change to a small motor or rowing boat to see the floating village. When we return to the junk, a sumptuous meal, combining Vietnamese and Western cuisine will be served. On leaving the cruise, we depart back to Hanoi by shuttle bus from the cruise.

Transfer to Hanoi airport for departure to next destination. It’s time to say goodbye, we thank you for traveling with us and warmly welcome you to come again.
