After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Bangkok's most famous temples. Your first stop will be at Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, two of the most famous tourist attractions in Bangkok. The Grand Palace is adjacent to Wat Phra Kaew, and together they form a common compound. The Grand Palace features European-inspired designs, except for the roofs, which maintain a distinctly Thai style.

Next, you will visit Wat Po, which is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. This temple is famous for its Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), the largest single Buddha image in Thailand, and is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. After this visit, you will have free time for lunch on your own.

You will then visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of the Dawn. This iconic landmark is one of the most well-known temples in Bangkok and offers a stunning view of the city.

Enjoy a walk through the flower market before the last visit at the Golden Mountain.

After this visit, you will return to your hotel for some free time to relax and explore the city at your leisure.

Afternoon Exploration:

• Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21): This former high school was converted into a prison and torture center by the Khmer Rouge regime (1975–1979). Over 17,000 prisoners passed through S-21; only seven survived. Your guide will lead you through the classrooms-turned-cells, the photographs of victims lining the walls, and the iron bed frames still in place. It is a harrowing but essential stop for understanding modern Cambodian history. The Khmer Rouge's radical communist revolution led to the deaths of nearly two million Cambodians through execution, forced labor, and starvation.
• The Killing Fields of Choeung Ek: Located 15 kilometers outside Phnom Penh, Choeung Ek is one of hundreds of "killing fields" where the Khmer Rouge executed and buried victims. The centerpiece is the Memorial Stupa, a glass-walled monument filled with over 8,000 human skulls sorted by age and gender. A path leads you past mass graves, and the audio tour (by former S-21 survivor Vann Nath) plays as you walk. The site is peaceful today, but the weight of history is palpable.

Today we travel by road from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with English speaking guide. On route you will have a chance to stop on the way to take photo and witness the everyday lives of Cambodians as you pass through interesting provincial towns, bucolic villages, and delightful scenery. This is no ‘freeway dash’ as you will often slow down to let cows and water buffalo wander across the road, pass horse drawn carriages, and school kids walking and cycling to/from school.

We may choose to stop at Skoun, also known as ‘Spider vile’ due to the deep-fried tarantula that is the local delicacy, are you adventurous enough to try one?

Arrive in Kampong Thom, we visit Sambor Prei Kuk, which is dotted with hundred Pre-Angkor styled temples. The site, part of the Chenla Kingdom, includes an area of nearly 1000 acres enclosed by double walls, and hundreds of temples and towers; its construction predates Angkor Wat by several centuries. The road conditions are very poor, but the spectacular scenery, with a mixture of temples and forest makes the hardship all worthwhile.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will check-in to your hotel after which you are free at leisure for the rest of the evening.

Siem Reap, a popular resort town in northwestern Cambodia, serves as the primary gateway to the legendary ruins of Angkor – the powerful seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th to the 15th centuries. Spanning a vast area, Angkor’s complex features an intricate network of stone temples and structures, among which the remarkably preserved Angkor Wat stands as the crown jewel. This iconic temple is so central to Cambodian identity that it is proudly displayed on the nation’s flag.

Drive to the rural outskirt 35km from Angkor area to visit the smallest, but magnificent, Banteay Srei built in the 10th Century and dedicated to Shiva. The temple was the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture and the bas-relief work is the best example of Khmer classical art remaining. The pink sandstone structure bears a series of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man.

We will visit the Landmine Museum where Mr. Aki Ra, a child soldier in the Khmer Rouge, has dedicated his life to helping those in need. Having spent most of his childhood fighting for the Khmer Rouge, Mr. Aki Ra was trained by the United Nations to detonate land mines; His fantastic work earned him a nomination for CNN Hero of the Year in 2010. They will stop at a local village to visit the families that are producing palm sugar.

We stop at Pradark Village, where you will see the villagers making palm sugar, handicraft for selling to tourist. It’s a nice chance for you to see the local people living at the country side with their struggling for daily life.

We depart to Preah Khan Temple. It is located northeast of Angkor Thom and just west of the Jayatataka baray, with which it was associated. It was the center of a substantial organization, with almost 100,000 officials and servants. Next is Neak Poan, “the entwined snakes” is a small temple located on an island in the center of the now dry Jayatataka baray, a water reservoir 3,500-meter-long and 900 meter wide.

Dinner with Apsara Dance show at local restaurant. For those travelers thirsting for cultural highlights of Cambodia, No visit to Cambodia is complete without attending at least one traditional Khmer dance performance, often referred to as 'Apsara Dance' after one of the most popular Classical dance pieces. Traditional Khmer dance better described as 'dance-drama' in that the dances are not merely dance but also meant to convey a story or message.

We start very early in the morning so we can capture the iconic picture of the pre-dawn facing Angkor Wat temple. Sunrise at Angkor Wat can be a busy venue especially during the months of December, January, February and March.

After sunrise, we will explore the vast and rich of Angkor Wat temple, taking pictures at different angles, playing with light and shadows and capturing the most beautiful devatas carved in sandstone.

Next destination will be the Ta Prohm "Tomb Raider" fame. Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history. Left as it was ‘discovered’ by French explorer Henri Mouhout in 1860, the tentacle-like tree roots here are slowly strangling the surviving stones, man first conquering nature to create, nature later conquering man to destroy.

Next, will be the impressive Bayon temple with its 54 towers and 216 faces overlooking the defunct city of Angkor Thom. The final stop will be at one of gate of Angkor Thom to capture sunset over the moat.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

After meeting, we depart to Tonle Sap Lake. We will visit the floating village of Kampong Phluk, which means "Port of Tusks", located 20 km east of Siem Reap. It is a village built on stilts on the Tonlé Sap. The community largely depends on fishing for a living, spending Cambodia's rainy season (June-October) fishing. During the dry season (November-April), when the waters of the lake go down, many of them work in agriculture to supplement their income. The excursion will take you to explore the floating village and allow you to see how people live and trade.

You will go to local pagoda, where you should change to clothes you can get wet in as here you will experience the ceremony “SrouchTeok”, which roughly translates into “Water blessing”. A monk will chant in ancient Pali as he splashes water over you, washing away your sins and bad luck so you can start fresh and by being a good person can increase your good luck.

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at Luang Prabang Airport. Luang Prabang that is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia.

We visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. The National Museum and the Central Market are not to be missed. We enjoy a short tour seeing the city’s oldest temple Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty, and traditional art. Later we’ll visit the impressive Wat Visoun, the oldest temple that houses many Buddha images. Next is Wat Aham, the ‘Monastery of the Blossomed Heart’ exudes serenity, and Wat Mai, the largest and most richly decorated of the temples in this city.

Evening, enjoy Luang Prabang night maket, offering a lovely variety of handmade textiles crafted by local and hill-tribe people, along with street food, knick-knacks and friendly banter.

Do you want to know what it takes to cultivate, harvest and prepare rice before it’s ready to eat?

This unique half-day ‘Rice is Life’ activity takes you on an in depth and hands-on learning experience where you will participate in 14 steps of the rice cycle on the Living Land community farm.

The Living Land Farm, a community enterprise just outside of Luang Prabang, maintains educational programs and professional organic farming right next to village rice paddies. Only small groups are able to join the interactive rice farming experience which actively benefits locals from the community, maintaining their crafts in their traditional form. Highlands and Borders: Tribes, Golden Triangle, and the Mekong

Following breakfast, your day begins with a journey into the lush hills surrounding Chiang Rai. You’ll visit the Akha and Yao hill tribe villages, where centuries-old traditions endure amid breath-taking mountain scenery. Take time to immerse yourself in the local culture – exploring their distinctive embroidery, silver jewellery, and thatched-roof homes – while enjoying panoramic views of terraced rice fields and mist-covered valleys.

From the highlands, you’ll continue north to Mae Sai, Thailand’s northernmost town, bustling with cross-border markets and a gateway to Myanmar. A short drive brings you to the legendary Golden Triangle, the dramatic meeting point of three nations: Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, separated by the mighty Mekong River. Here, you have the option to embark on a serene boat ride along the Mekong, drifting past jungle-clad shores and gaining a unique perspective of this historic drug-trade route turned tourist gem.

After the river experience, you’ll visit the Opium House, a museum that sheds light on the region’s complex opium trade history, from its cultivation to its eventual suppression. Finally, explore the ancient riverside city of Chiang Saen, where crumbling Buddhist stupas and old city walls stand as silent witnesses to centuries of Lanna Kingdom glory. As dusk settles, you’ll return to your hotel in Chiang Rai, filled with the day’s rich cultural and natural discoveries.

Visit the famous Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Seua Ten located a few kilometers from Chiang Rai. It is a recent temple that is still under construction, although its main hall is now completed. It is above all its magnificent blue interior with a large white Buddha that marks the spirits. The Blue Temple of Chiang Rai is still little known among tourists for now, because it was completed very recently. Then we will begin the journey that takes us to Chiang Rai, during which we cannot miss a visit to the White Temple or Wat Rong Khun. One of the many religious places in Chiang Rai. With exceptional quality in art and extremely elaborate architecture, the consecrated assembly hall of Wat Rong Khun is unlike any other temple in terms of having both carved pediment peaks and tooth-shaped ridges. The hall itself is mostly constructed in pure white, illustrative of the purity of the Buddha. The clear mirrored sparkling glass serves as the wisdom of the Awakened One shining upon the earth and the universe.

Leave Chiang Rai behind and travel southwest toward Mae Ka Chan, a tranquil stop famous for its natural hot springs. Here, you can watch mineral-rich water bubble up from geothermal pools, fill your lungs with the faint scent of sulphur, and even try the local tradition of boiling eggs in the steaming streams – a perfect way to stretch your legs before continuing the journey.

Refreshed, you’ll press onward to Chiang Mai, the cultural heart of northern Thailand. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your hotel and free leisure.

Begin your day in Chiang Mai with breakfast at your hotel, followed by a pickup for a tour of Doi Suthep, where you'll visit its renowned temple—one of northern Thailand's most important spiritual sites. Explore the culture and traditional crafts of the Hmong Hilltribe Village.

Later in the day, you’ll be taken to visit one of Chiang Mai’s holiest sites: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Perched on a hillside and built in the traditional Northern Thai style, the temple is home to a sacred relic of the Lord Buddha and offers breath-taking panoramic views over the city.

Continue to Wat Phra Singh is a renowned 14th-century Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai's Old City, Thailand, celebrated for its classic Lanna-style architecture and the highly revered Phra Singh (Lion) Buddha image.

Following the visit, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, where you’ll have free time to unwind and explore at your own pace.

Next Wat Chedi Luang a Buddhist temple in the historic centre of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The current temple grounds were originally made up of three temples.

Travel through lush mountain landscapes to the summit of Doi Inthanon, where cool temperatures and misty forests create a refreshing atmosphere. Explore the Ang Ka Nature Trail, renowned for its unique highland ecosystem, moss-covered trees, and diverse flora. Visit the Stupa of Chao Inthawichayanon, dedicated to the last ruler of the former Lanna Kingdom. Continue to the iconic Twin Royal Pagodas, built in honor of Their Majesties the King and Queen, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and beautifully landscaped gardens. Stop at the Hmong Tribal Market, where villagers sell fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and local products grown in the highlands.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Royal Project, established to support sustainable agriculture and improve the livelihoods of local hill tribe communities. Continue to a Karen Hill Tribe Village to gain insight into the traditional lifestyle of northern Thailand’s ethnic minorities.

Before returning to Chiang Mai, stop at the spectacular Wachirathan Waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in the region, surrounded by lush tropical forest.

Alternatively, you can indulge in some retail therapy at the local markets or shopping centers.

In the evening, you can enjoy the lively nightlife of Phuket with its bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. However, if you prefer a more peaceful evening, you can relax at your hotel and enjoy the facilities available.
